Our non-profit program strives to open up the full range of opportunities that higher education in the United States provides for international students.

StudyAmerica's mission is to give access to higher education at the top US colleges to every student, who is dreaming of it and is ready to work hard in order to achieve that.

StudyAmerica has existed for more than 13 years and we have connected more than 25,000 people interested in higher education in the United States. The founder of the project, Maria Guryeva, is a graduate of Columbia University in New York. Maria was born into an ordinary family, and her parents did not graduate from college; she studied in the USA with full funding, and it was that experience that became pivotal for her entire life.

After graduating from university, she began working in the field of education in Russia and founded her own business, which operates in Russia and the CIS countries. She was named the winner of the Best Business Awards 2020 and Successful Ladies Awards 2018 and 2023.

A successful career in the field of education led Maria to an idea of providing the same bright professional start to students of different backgrounds, nationalities, cultures, incomes, through education at US universities.

And we want to help students for free from the CIS countries understand the admissions process, learn about their strengths and weaknesses when working on their case, and find the right approach towards such important steps as choosing universities, writing essays, filling out forms and so on.

We truly value the community of proactive young people who are not afraid to dream big (we are talking about higher education in the USA). We are all strongly connected not only by that goal itself, but also by a method based on mutual support and assistance. All our members can stay open and communicate with each other, we stimulate dialogue between them in our app.

Honesty

It is important to us to provide as accurate and honest information as possible to everyone who relies on StudyAmerica’s resources. Unfortunately, in the CIS countries there are very few people who have real experience of applying to the USA. Therefore, students find a lot of false information on the Internet and follow advice that is not based on real practical experience.

Our community includes students from the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries. It is very important for us to support students who are driven by the idea of ​​studying in the USA, even if there are various obstacles on their way: insufficient language level, financial restrictions, lack of understanding of the application process.

Diversity

We strive to collaborate with international organizations to obtain the most up-to-date knowledge about the admissions process and share it with members of our community. For example, we are a member of NACAC (The National Association for College Admission Counseling). We are aimed at developing our international relations and mutual support of other participants in the field.

It is important to us that those people who read, listen or watch our products develop themselves through it and become excellent international-level specialists at the end. Our community includes many graduates of US universities who, by their own example, show others how important it is to strive for personal and professional growth in order to change the world around us.
